Pottawatomie Park – Fun For the Whole Family

Located just west of Chicago, Pottawatomie Park St Charles IL is an outdoor paradise. It’s filled with everything you need for a fun-filled day including full and mini golf courses, fishing, boat rentals, playgrounds, tennis courts, and more! See our home page.

The fun doesn’t stop here, though. Eight of the 18 holes at River View Miniature Golf Course feature Stanley’s Spin-N-Play, which challenges you to putt standing on one foot or swinging your club between your legs.

River View Miniature Golf Course

Whether you’re a putt-putt pro or a novice, Pottawatomie Park is an ideal place to spend some time with family and friends. Located along the Fox River, the historic park offers paddlewheel riverboat cruises, seasonal canoe and pedal boat rentals, a nine-hole golf course, an 18 hole miniature golf course, a multi-use community center, tennis courts and more!

The park’s River View Miniature Golf Course is a fun and challenging course that will challenge you to a wide variety of wacky putt-putt shots. The windmill, water wheel, dynamite shack and real running creek are just some of the features you’ll face on this 18-hole course.

The park also hosts many events throughout the year, including Date Night Saturdays when couples can play a round of 18-hole mini-golf for just $10. Families can enjoy a free frozen treat from the concession stand on Fridays for each round of mini-golf purchased between 6 and 9 p.m.

Stanley’s Spin-N-Play

Stanley’s Spin-N-Play is the park’s newest and most innovative interactive attraction. This nifty little device features eight of the mini-golf course’s 18 holes and allows golfers to spin around a wheel to determine whether they should putt standing on one foot, with their back to the green or in the opposite direction. It’s a surprisingly satisfying challenge to say the least.

The park is awash in activities that will keep your family busy for the day or all weekend. The list of offerings is long: the aforementioned River View Miniature Golf course, a recently revamped playground, a nine-hole golf course, pedal boats and Swanson Pool. It’s no wonder that Pottawatomie Park is a popular destination for families looking for a fun and educational experience. Located along the Fox River and just steps from downtown St. Charles, this is a place you can truly call home for the day. It’s also a place you won’t soon forget. More about Aurora here.

Boat Rentals

Pottawatomie Park is a great place to visit if you’re looking for fun activities for the whole family. The park features a miniature golf course, seasonal canoe and paddle boat rentals, paddlewheel riverboat cruises, tennis, and paved biking trails.

A rented boat is one of the best ways to experience the Fox River. Kayaking, canoeing and paddle boating are popular water sports that allow you to see the scenery from a different angle.

The paddle wheel riverboats in Pottawatomie Park provide a smooth and tranquil ride on the Fox River. They offer daily afternoon sightseeing trips and private charter cruises on the St. Charles Belle and the Fox River Queen.

The mini-golf course is a fun way to spend time with the kids and a good way to get some exercise. The paddle-wheel riverboats are also impressive and are one of the coolest things to do in St. Charles, if not the state. The best part about the riverboats is that they’re also fun for adults to ride.

Bike Station

Bikers who ride the Fox River Trail will want to stop by Pottawatomie Park’s Bike Station. It offers amenities like a water-bottle fill station, benches and bike repair center.

The park’s Bike Station is also equipped with weather-proof brochure holders that provide bike path information. Two stations are located along the Fox River Trail: one on the north side of stone restroom facilities adjacent to River View Miniature Golf and another across from Langum Park on the east bank of the Fox River.

The Northern Fox River Valley is the perfect place to pedal a bicycle. The area’s parks, museums and thriving arts scene make cycling the quickest way to get around town. Several local biking groups, including Fox River Trail Runners (St. Charles), Geneva Running Outfitters and Dick Pond Athletics (Geneva) offer tours and races that appeal to every level of a rider’s abilities.
