SUPER STRONG! Polyurethane cures as an inert, impermeable polymer that will not shrink, breakdown or wash away.

LIGHTWEIGHT! Polyurethane weighs about 2.5 per cubic foot, which doesn’t add much, unwanted weight to an already failing substrate.

STABILIZATION! Since polyurethane is injected as a liquid it is extremely effective at filling open voids, and solidifying and stabilizing  loose soils.

LESS INVASIVE! The polyurethane injection process uses penny-size holes making our work barely noticeable.

IT’S FAST! Polyurethane cures extremely fast which means you can go back to using your concrete right after we leave.

Why Polyurethane Foam is a Better Solution Compared to Mudjacking

Over the years improvements have been made to process in which sunken concrete is lifted back the original level. Originally mud was pumped below the slab to hydraulically force it up– hence the term mudjacking. This worked but over time the mud would wash away. Then contractors started using a sand and cement mix rather than mud. This process was an improvement but still tended to breakdown overtime and it also added a lot of additional weight to the soil which can cause further settling. Today due to its lightweight and strength, polyurethane expanding foam is being used. Polymer will not shrink or breakdown over time and will not over burden the soil with extra weight. Also the holes needed to inject the material are half the size of previous methods, making the repair barley noticeable.
